Financial Principles
Following the example George Muller, Francis Schaeffer, and others, GoodSoil does not solicit financial assistance. Rather, its board and employees simply petition God directly in prayer for their personal and corporate needs.
This approach to funding is simply in obedience to a subjective sense by founder Stephen Meeks that it is the appropriate means of approaching funding for GoodSoil Ministries, inc. who believes, “The resultant testimony of God’s active answers will long outlive the ministry itself and serve both current and future generations with a tangible evidence of God’s nearness and active participation in life today and always.”
Cross-funding is not practiced out of consideration of the move of God on individual’s hearts to give toward specific causes--funds given for a particular purpose are reserved for that specific purpose. Gifts to the general fund are distributed according to the Director’s discretion.
Record keeping is kept by an independent source. The director is accountable at all times to the board of directors.
The wealth of GoodSoil is the testimony God moveing $3.00-donors and $63,000.00-donors alike to carry on His work in the world.
